An Online Poetry Workshop
As part of the Write ME project, poet Jeri Theriault will lead a free epistolary poetry workshop for those who want to write letter-poems in French. Jeri has this to say: “Though most participants in Julia’s project will be writing in English, I thought it would be fun to try this in French. Was French your first language? Is it still your most comfortable language? Did you grow up in a French-speaking country? Have you lost most of your French? Or, are you like me, someone who longs for the language of her ancestors, but who only has textbook French? You may choose to participate entirely in French or part French/part English.”
