Please join the Maine Writers & Publishers Alliance and Kelly’s Books to Go for a reading from Lee Sharkey’s new book of poems, I Will Not Name It Except to Say (Tupelo, 2021). This will be the reading that Lee herself might have given if she was still with us. Poet and friend Martha Collins will talk a little about Lee’s process of putting the manuscript together in the last weeks of her life. Lee's publisher from Tupelo Press, Jeffrey Levine, will also speak. Lee’s poems will be read by friends and colleagues including Agnes Bushell, Philip Carlsen, Kirun Kapur, Stuart Kestenbaum, Natasha Mayers, Cathleen Miller, Glenn Morazzini, Betsy Sholl, Jeri Theriault, and Margaret Yocum.
