Maine Lit Fest Event - Day 10

The Kids’ Lit Bookfair at the Maine Lit Fest is an opportunity for kids and families to celebrate the diversity of children’s, middle grade, and young adult books coming out of Maine and New England.

Family-friendly & Free. Featuring 20+ Children's Authors and Illustrators. Plus Drag Queen Storytime, Illustrator Draw-Offs, Puppets, Music, Crafts, and BOOKS galore!!

Back Cove Books will sell books.

Participating authors and illustrators include:

10:00 AM – Face Drawing with Charlotte Agell (Downstairs)

10:30 AM – Drag Queen Story Time with Chartreuse Money (Children’s Library)

11:00 AMCRANKY Draw Along with Phuc Tran (Downstairs)

11:30 AM – Puppets and Music with Lindz Amer (Children’s Library)

12:00 PM – Read aloud of Flap Your Hands with Steve Asbell (Downstairs)

12:30 PM – Illustrator Draw-Off with Sarah Sax and Tom Booth (Children’s Library)

The festival will feature special programming throughout the day in the Children's Library on the main level and the library's downstairs meeting rooms. Priority seating in program sessions is for children. In meeting rooms with limited capacity, festival volunteers may ask parents to wait outside the room so that all available seats can be used by kids. If your child needs a parent or adult with them to safely enjoy programming, we will happily accommodate.
