Maine Chapbook Series: Brandon Dudley launches HAZARDS OF NATURE: STORIES

  • Bunker Brewing 17 Westfield Street Portland, ME, 04102 United States (map)

Please join the Maine Writers & Publishers Alliance at Bunker Brewing in Portland to celebrate the launch of Brandon Dudley’s chapbook, Hazards of Nature: Stories, which was selected by National Book Award winner Sigrid Nunez for the Maine Chapbook Series. Pulitzer Finalist Rebecca Makkai says, “Here is a sharp new voice; and here are three stories with a hard edge but a raw, tender heart. Brandon Dudley is a writer to watch.”

Dudley’s chapbook joins Suzanne Langlois’s Bright Glint Gone, which was chosen by award-winning poet Martha Collins and published in 2020 as part of the Maine Chapbook Series. Kelly's Books to Go will be selling copies of both books.

All are welcome.

This event has been re-scheduled from 10/26 to 11/2 due to weather. It will happen rain or shine, either outdoors or inside at Bunker Brewing. All Maine CDC guidelines will be followed.
