Stone Broke Bread & Books
We're both a small-press bookstore and a Community-Supported-Bakery (CSB, like a CSA but with bread!) expanding to offer naturally-leavened and fully-fermented bread goods through our storefront with a focus on local and responsibly-sourced ingredients. We believe in feeding the mind as well as the body and our curated book selection highlights community-building and a counterculture ethos: DIY, homesteading, alternative politics and health, ecology, underrepresented voices, poetry, and children's. We've also partnered up with like-minded local makers to offer gifts and goods we think match well with this community. We host events pertaining to many of these ideas, offer a free and open seed swap, and have a changing gallery wall.
