Read & Loved
Please send a sentence or two about a hidden gem by a Maine writer that you read and loved. It could be a story, essay, poem, scene, fan fiction, comic, or hybrid piece from a magazine, literary journal, online outlet, blog, or part of a book you read recently. Why does it move you? This is not a review—just a quick appreciation of someone else’s work. We’re looking to shine a little light on pieces that might be under the radar and that you think others in Maine’s reading and writing communities might appreciate. Read & Loved pieces will be shared in the MWPA’s weekly newsletter (the Peavey), on our website, and on our social media channels.
