In this workshop, participants will examine how to develop colorful and textured “short form” creative nonfiction.

Working in the 500- to 1500-word range, writers will experiment in personal essay and memoir, drawing on both published work and instructor Jaed Coffin’s own experience in this form. Participants should come ready to generate new material, and will leave this workshop with several rough drafts of potentially publishable material.
