Wadsworth-Longfellow_House,_Portland,_METhe MWPA is excited to partner with the Maine Historical Society to host poets Christian Barter, Christopher Robley, and Betsy Sholl for a reading in the Longfellow Gardens!

The reading will relate to the 2014-2015 Maine Historical Society exhibit, “Home: The Longfellow House and the Emergence of Portland.” Christian Barter won the 2014 Maine Literary Award for Poetry for his collection In Someone Else’s House. Christopher Robley won the 2014 Maine Literary Award for Poetry in the Short Works Competition. Former Maine Poet Laureate Betsy Sholl has just released her new collection, Otherwise Unseen.
